Robert M. Mike Richey, 69, of Wooster died on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born November 18, 1950 in Wooster to Mel and Delores Sponseller Richey. On July 27, 1991, he married Katherine Gray, who survives.
Mike was employed with The Wooster Glass Company for over 45 years. He was a little league baseball coach for the Wooster Glass team from 1977-1983 in the Wooster Recreation League. He enjoyed deer hunting, was an amazing harmonica player and loved his dogs and cats. New Orleans was his favorite spot to vacation.
Along with his wife, Mike is survived by his children Mike (Darlene) Richey of Wooster, Steve (Megan) Richey of Utica and Carrie Miller of Wooster; grandchildren Ashley, Matt, Alex, Trevor, Gracelyn, Sam, Isaac, Jaxon, Kelsey and Kolton; and his first wife and mother of his children Carol Sigler.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law Shane Miller and sisters Sue Simmons and Patty Hudson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
