

Rebecca L. “Becky” Maibach, aged 73 of Circleville, Ohio, formerly of Wooster and Logan, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Born May 22, 1951 in Zanesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Wayne Hector and Alice Jean (Brown) Hubbard. They moved to Wooster, Ohio in her elementary years and graduated in 1969. Becky earned her Bachelor of Education from The Ohio State University and was an English teacher in Wadsworth, Ohio. In 1975, she and her family moved to Logan, Ohio where she was a homemaker, raised two lovely children, and kept a beautiful home. Becky then worked as a substitute teacher in Logan and made many, many friends, especially the Ya-Ya’s.
Becky then pursued her passion, attending Hocking College where she received her degree in nursing. She was a Registered Nurse in the home health field for over 20 years in Logan and Circleville, Ohio. Becky retired in 2015 and was able to enjoy mowing her lawn, caring for her home inside and out, and sharing her days with Ted. Her favorite event was to spend time with her grandchildren, whom she loved beyond measure.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Emily B. Morris of Pataskala, Ohio; son, Jeffrey S. (Heather) Maibach of Marengo, Ohio; companion, Theodore A. “Ted” Cox of Circleville, Ohio; two brothers, Michael (Janet) Hubbard of Lancaster, Ohio and Scott (Mollie) Hubbard of Albany, Ohio; two sisters, Sharon Wood and Sandy Hubbard, both of Sedalia, Missouri; and 4 grandchildren, Will and Anna Morris, Kort Sears and Reagan Maibach.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Roberts Funeral Home- Logan, Ohio, officiated by Joshua N. Martin. A tribute to Becky’s years in the nursing profession will also be conducted by the Appalachian Ohio Nurse Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
